It is great to hear that you are planning on attending the 101st Calgary Stampede! It has now been called “ Come Hell or High Water” , as the floods have caused tremendous damage , not only to Stampede Park and Calgary but surrounding areas as well. We are really excited about the steer show as every year it becomes more competitive as the cattle quality improves and the number of Jackpot shows leading up to Calgary increase, along with prize money. Semen from sires that you have promoted, along with others, have greatly influenced the growth of the club calf industry in Canada. Your support is in attending the show is much appreciated and at this time I would like to extend an invitation to all Americans involved in the cattle industry to attend the Steer Classic , which will be held July 13 2013 during the Calgary Stampede, which hosts the $100,000 per event rodeo and the amazing $100,000 Dash For Cash chuck wagon races, running daily during the 10 day extravaganza!
