I grew up in Ames, Iowa and had very little interest or access to livestock opportunitys for most of my youth. At a certain point I was hanging around Ames and I was getting into a lot of trouble. In 2007 we took Monopoly, Jimmy The Greek and Leroy Brown to Denver. Jimmy The Greek and Leroy Brown received the most praise and got bred to the most cows that year. In the year 2013, if you had a jug full of semen of those three bulls which would you breed to?? :::: Similar to Monopoly, Walk This Way didn’t sell much semen his first year out due to the popularity of others but the ones that did breed to him were very impressed. We love fluffy cows, too. This is a shot of my son Drew resting on his lim-flex heifer Trish. What makes this so special? Last year on July 17, just after returning from our Jr. Nationals Drew was diagnosed with cancer. He is a SURVIVOR! He’s still in active chemo treatment but this year he’s also back in the show ring!
